2011

Kita merancang, Allah sebaik-baik Perancang :)

Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli haal :)
Tetapi segalanya perlu ditangguhkan, 2012 insya Allah

ALhamdulillah, 3 bulan pregnancy yang mudah. tiada heavy morning sickness. Tiada emosi keterlaluan. Tiada keletihan teramat. Alhamdulillah. Moga terus-terus dipermudahkan. Makbulkanlah Ya Allah...

"Abi, When We Will Ever Relax?"

Assalamualaikum wbt.

Would like to share this with my sisters and brothers of Islam (copied from "The Very Best Productive Muslim.com's article. Tried to attached the link here, but unfortunately, it didn't work. Forgive me for the lacking of technical expertise in this)

"Abi, when we will ever relax?"
"With the first step we take into Jannah"

I wanted to share a moving story that I once heard and
will always remember and cherish for its meanings. It's
the story of one of the great Imams of this Ummah, Imam
Ahmad bin Hanbal.

His son, Abdullah, asked his father one day: “Abi when
will we ever relax?” His father, one of the greatest
revivers of the Sunnah and a role model for all Muslims,
looked him in the eye and said: “With the $rst step we
take into Jannah.”

Ya Allah, what a beautiful response!

There are days that come to you and you’re tired, you just
want to sleep and relax and "shut o"" as they say. Those
are the days in which you need to ask yourself a critical
question: ‘Where am I going with life?’ If it's towards
Allah and for Allah, then regain your strength and
continue your work, for Jannah is precious and must be
sought. But if you look into your life and realise that it's not
towards Allah but towards Dunya, then your tiredness
becomes a blessing, for it is a reminder that you need to
change direction and renew your purpose in life.

I love this story on many levels. For one, it shows you that
when someone's focus is Jannah, their priorities change
and their outlook on life is different. What we perceive as
diffculty, they perceive as ease. What we perceive as
calamity, they perceive as reward. What we perceive as
obstacles, they perceive as opportunities for sincere
dua. Moreover, when your focus is Jannah, this Dunya and
its constant demand becomes small and the least of our
concerns.

Also, I love the way the son began his question: "Abi" – a
sweet way of addressing his father, and asked: "When
will we ever relax?" If you notice, he didn't say, "when will
I relax Dad?” Even though he wanted to relax, he wasn’t
sel$sh and also cared for his father's condition. This also
shows you that the father and son were working hard
together. Again, when your focus is Jannah it re%ects in
your family, children, and those around you and everyone
gears up towards that goal.
Our problem today is not that we're tired, our problem
today is that we relax too much. We do everything so that
we relax. We cheat, break promises, do not fullfill
vows, lie, take and give bribery, and so on. Why? So we
can relax. We don't stay up for Tahajjud or wake up for
Fajr, we don't fast, or go for Hajj and Umrah… all so we
can relax. We don't walk towards the Masjid or open the
Book of Allah so we can understand it, all in the name of
"I need to relax!"

Dear brothers and sisters, there's plenty of relaxation
where we're going, but this is not the time for it. Let's all
work for Jannah and be productive in the path of Allah,
and work so hard that one day our children will approach
us and ask: "Abi" or "Ummi": "When will we ever relax?"
and you can smile and look them in the eyes and say,
"When we enter Jannah inshaAllah".

Hati fitrahnya lembut.

Sabar, mendengar, penyayang? Ighfirlana ya Rabb. Ighfirlana Ya Rabb...

Make Me Strong

Hm, beautiful nasyid.

A special dedication :)
Title : Make Me Strong
Singer : Sami Yusuf
Album : Wherever You Are

I know I’m waiting
Waiting for something
Something to happen to me
But this waiting comes with
Trials and challenges
Nothing in life is free

I wish that somehow
You’d tell me out aloud
That on that day I’ll be ok
But we’ll never know cause
That’s not the way it works
Help me find my way

My Lord show me right from wrong
Give me light make me strong
I know the road is long
Make me strong
Sometimes it just gets too much
I feel that I’ve lost touch
I know the road is long
Make me strong

I know I’m waiting
Yearning for something
Something known only to me
This waiting comes with
Trials and challenges
Life is one mystery

I wish that somehow
You’d tell me out aloud
That on that day you’ll forgive me
But we’ll never know cause
That’s not the way it works
I beg for your mercy

My Lord show me right from wrong
Give me light make me strong
I know the road is long
Make me strong
Sometimes it just gets too much
I feel that I’ve lost touch
I know the road is long
Make me strong

The Clouds Who Remind Me about The Almighty

pencapahan yang sangat cantik
subhanallah :)

a beautiful colour :)

dusk at Sri Aman

=)

a perfect reflection at Sungai Batang Lupar. Subhanallah

@ Sri Aman waterfront :6.20pm

purplish, bluish, whitish, a great combination :)

I was exhausted after a course, and rushed to the international airport. I was thinking to have a nap before reaching Kuching, but this scenery amazed me. Subhanallah, a dusk from above

Forgive me for the not-so-good image quality. Taken using SE W705 3.2mp, and Sony Cybershot T500

(Surah Ar-Rum: 48)

I took these pictures forgetting all the photography rules (R03, horizontal lines, contrast, make the picture as simple as it could etc).

A friend of mine said " I love to see the sky especially during sunset. It is such a perfect tranquilizer." And both of us share the same passion, gazing at the beautiful clouds, and sky.

Hmm, I would like to direct our focus to this hadith :

Do you know if our prophet sees dark clouds approaching, he would always look worried, for the fear of the same cloud that Prophet ‘Aad’s people had?

‘A’isha, the wife of the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him), reported: I never saw Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) laugh to such an extent that I could see his uvula-whereas he used to smile only-and when he saw dark clouds or wind, (the signs of fear) were depicted on his face. I said: Messenger of Allah, I find people being happy when they see the dark cloud in the hope that it would bring rain, but I find that when you see that (the cloud) there is an anxiety on your face. He said: ‘A’isha, I am afraid that there may be a calamity in it, for a people was afflicted with wind, when the people saw the calamity they said:” It is a cloud which would give us rain” (Muslim)

But when it rained, he would be relieved.

Ata’ b. Rabah reported on the authority of ‘A’isha, the wife of the Apostle of Allah (way peace be upon him), who said: Whenever the wind was stormy, the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) used to say:O Allah! I ask Thee for what is good in it, and the good which it contains, and the good of that which it was sent for. I seek refuge with Thee from what is evil in it, what evil it contains, and the evil of that what it was sent for;and when there was a thunder and lightning in the sky, his colour underwent a change, and he went out and in, backwards and forwards; and when the rain came, he felt relieved, and I noticed that (the sign of relief) on his face.(Muslim)

If only we could reach that level of taqwa :(

PS : there are enough evidence that He is The Only Almighty ...

Them

Assalamualaikum wbt,
A very long silence from me. But that doesn't mean I am quitting.Sometimes, we just have to take a step backward and look from a different path and/or perspective. It is either only beneficial things came out from our mouth or keep quiet when there are no better words to voice them out. That's what our prophet Muhammad PBUH told us.

Lately I've been reading blogs from my muslim brotherhood and sisterhood from abroad, and I can say, they really showed good example being a muslim, though they are the minority. Insya Allah, my short term planning is to go abroad, for few years (or maybe migrating there, depends on hub's career development), not to gain fame, or wealth, but to see new horizon befriending with minority muslim there. Insya Allah! I'm impressed with how positive they are, how they survived although others had prejudice on them. And how willingly they commit to sunnah, how open they are for discussions, yet very intellectual and professional. But one thing I can conclude is : to be positive is our choice, and they chose to be positive.

Tired and exhausted working with people?  Try to isolate yourself just for 2 weeks, and you will see, that life is horrendous.  No one to remind you, no one to celebrate your joy, no one to lend their shoulder for your grievances, and no one to navigate you which path should  you take. Sound interesting? Bak kata orang, hidup seorang lagi best!

Hm, that's not the truth. Full stop.
But sometimes, listening to non-stop complains, backbitings, selfishness, negative thoughts, make myself wonder : do they choose to be the constant complainer? Or didn't they try to open their eyes, just for a second, and find other alternatives?

Eg : 90days of maternity leaves. Ok, for me that's good enough, though it has some cons (by the way, name me one decision in this world that have 100% pros without any cons?), and they blurted any words they want to use. Sigh. This was not the morale of any human being. This is just common sense.

I am a pro-government? Yes, I am, I am a good government servant, but I have my verdict whom should I vote, but to say any negative things without deep thinking is just not me!

"letih, tak dapat transfer".Dear, please stop complaining, because we have more than 1000 Semenajung people here, who's been working here for more than 5 years, and they did their best to be transferred. Please la stop complaining..

Am I losing the soft-hearted Nurul Diyana Sharifudin? No, but here I am, to say that Life is about what we choose (semestinya dengan izin dariNya, and Dia Maha Mengetahui segalanya). If we want to be positive, change your perception. Life itself is a full of surprises. Take it positively. If you need to take a step backward to look from different angle, take it, and make the wise decision. Ask constant help from HIM, The Almighty.

Muslim nowadays are lacking of quality. It is like bubbles in the sea, that's how Rasulullah SAW had described us. Pity, and ashame. But, with The Almighty's will, Islam and muslim (note : I use muslim instead of Muslim, because muslim is not just a name, but it is also an action) will rise, Insya Allah. But to be at the top of the world, where everything is according to what Al Quran and As Sunnah said, it needs US (we, you, and I) to put our determination to practice Islam accordingly. It needs US to dig our perception, and willing to accept the truth, it needs US to implement Islam in our basic daily life.

It needs US, and it needs US to change.May Allah grand us continous reward to implement Islam within ourselves, and to spread Islamic teaching (Islam is just not about solah, fasting, paying zakah, performing hajj), but is everything.

Finally : Hiduplah kamu dalam Islam sepenuhnya..

Keletah kanak-kanak itu

Assalamualaikum wbt

Mereka faham erti Ramadhan sebenar. Alhamdulillah.

Ramadhan hampir saja ke penghujung. Apakah Ramadhan ini mampu memimpin 11 bulan seterusnya? Auditlah diri, sebelum tiba penghujung bulan rahmat ini. Astaghfirullah al adzheem. Astaghfirullah al adzheem. Astaghfirullah al adzheem...

A special dedication to those that really matters

Assalamualaikum
Alhamdulillah, time really flew fast, it is the 7th day of Ramadhan. Hoping that we really put the maximum effort to be the most righteous person : THE AL MUTTAQEEN.

And indeed, Mr Time flies faster that i've ever thought. It is the second month with the wife title. I just noticed, I haven't show them how much did I really appreciate their effort (except in the Facebook).

Jazakumullahu khairan kathira. Sesungguhnya hanya Allah yang mampu membalas jasa baik mereka. I browsed through some Bukhari and Muslim compilation of hadiths, and I found this

(HR.Muslim)

Here are the wishes for them, the one who really put the effort to ease the walimatul urusy. Sesungguhnya perkahwinan adalah penyermpurna sebahagian iman. Ya Allah kupohon padaMu rahmatilah mereka. Permudahkan urusan-urusan yang membawa kebaikan buat mereka.

Ya ALLAH, please shower them with THOU mercy and blessings ...

To mama : you are always great. The one who always lend me her shoulders when i need them most, the one who always wanted the best for her kids, the one who always sooth her kids when they are in the most deepest hurt. the one who always wanted the best for her kids, thank you mama, for being the greatest mama :)

To ayah, thank you for everything. The hardships, the sacrifices for us. You are stern, but yet the stern make us whom we are now. Thank you ayah for your unconditional love and support :)

To angah : thank you, thank you, thank you. I respect the calm, yet being a wise middle person in the family. Indirectly, you taught me how to be humble. You are wise in giving advise. Thank you for being the obedient and caring son to your parents, thank you for being the supportive brother to your sisters. Thank you :)

To adik : frankly speaking, I adore you. You're the naughtiest and cheeky in the family. But you always respect the authority more than me.You are fair and you are honest. You grumble, but you showed your undivided attention towards the big day. How I'm so grateful to have you dear sister :)

To pemudah cara  yang mungkin tidak perlu saya sebutkan nama (but i will always remember, Insya Allah)  : Jazakumullahu khairan kathira

The Best of the Best

The Best of the Best

By Abu Eesa Niamatullah.

When we are told that 'this is the best' or 'that was the greatest' or 'this will bring the most benefit' etc, have you ever thought who on Earth gave such people/editors the authority to tell us that? In an age when we have a plethora of 'Top 10' or 'Top 100' lists on everything from cars to films, from foods to places, one wonders where is that list that will really provide some benefit to us in this current short life and the next very long one..Well, wait no more. Below, from a choice of hundreds of narrations from our beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, you can find 100 hadîth, in no particular order of merit, detailing ways on exactly how to become the best, how to have the most excellent characteristics, what really will prove most beneficial for us to know, what really are the greatest things to think about and hope for and indeed, how to become the most beloved of people to our Magnificent Creator, Allah, the Most High.

No more subjectivity, no more empty statements; just the divine criteria of what really is the best as developed by the very best himself, Muhammad al-Mustapha, upon whom be peace.
So go on, don't be ordinary. Don't be common. Don't be typical ...

BE THE BEST!!

Sharpening the saw in the blessed Ramadhan

"O you who believe! fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed upon those before you in order that you may attain taqwa." [Surah al-Baqarah 2:183].

11 months of lust, arrogance, anger, err, lacking of self control and many other negative habits. The months that portray I succumbed entirely to my lower self. Literally speaking, I didn’t put the maximum effort to be the AL MUTTAQEEN during the last 11 months. And perhaps, I graduated from Ramadhan School last year with average grade. Ramadhan, as it was prescribed in the above-mentioned verse is merely to gain TAQWA.

Alhamdulillah, Glory be to Thou, The Merciful. With HIS Mercy, He bestowed us with this holy month. A month to develop self-control and to withstand numerous temptations such as food, drinks, sexual desire ( this might be not the case for single person) and controlling ones’ act upon another person. It is time to be steadfast in the only deen.

May Allah grant us strength to be steadfast in the deen and during this blessed month, and not to be of there who are prevented from His Mercy and Forgiveness. Indeed He is the One who Hears and He is the One to Respond.

"Whosoever reaches the month of Ramadhan and does not have his sins forgiven, and so enters the Fire, then may Allah distance him." Sahih: Related by Ahmad

Sebulan sebagai seorang isteri

Assalamualaikum

Hanya sekadar coretan seorang isteri.

Ya Allah, aku ingin menjadi saksi bahawa suamiku Salahuddin Azraie berlaku lembut terhadapku. Limpahkanlah rahmat ke atasnya Yang Maha Mengasihani...

Ibrah daripada alam

"[Just editted the contrast using autocontrast. No other editting was done]. I fall in love at a glance with this combination :green, red, and brown of the dying leaves and of course a mixture of variable shapes added some spice to this scenery! Subhanallah. I really love this picture." Nurul Diyana's wall photos with the caption in FB

Assalamualaikum.
Saya suka bercerita tentang alam.

After 6 months in Sri Aman, Alhamdulillah I'm adapting quite well

Some information about Sri Aman

1) The 3rd division in Sri Aman

2) Workload for officer 1 : 70 000

Now in Sri Aman

3 dental officers, including one DDO who does all the admin thing

3 medical officers including the 'Pengarah' which has to see patients because of lacking officers

as well

2 medical officers cover OPD, which 1 officer had requested to be back to her country

3) Certain areas need 6 hours journey to rich the main clinic, and hospital. And it cost RM 250 per visit just to have a medical check up. They have to take 3 boats, 1 van or bus, or some of them have to walk from their 'kampung' to the main road for 3 hours.

Halalkah duit saya?

Halalkah duit on-call saya?

Kisah 1:
Ibu : Campurkan sahaja susu itu dengan air. Khalifah Umar tiada di sini. Tiada siapa yang nampak
Anak : Tidak boleh ibu. Itu sudah menipu
Ibu : Campurkan sahaja.
Khalifah Umar Abdul Aziz

Kisah 2 :
Anak : Ayah, izinkan diriku berbicara denganmu
Ayah : Tentang permasalahan apakah yang mengganggumu anakku?
Anak : Tentang diriku
Subhanallah

Kisah 3
Dr J : Do you know my friend, a friend of mine requested not to have on-calls on weekend
Dr D : Why?
Dr J : Because she will be doing on-calls 24-7 for 365 days
Dr D : Hm, and then?
Dr J : She doesn't want to claim the on-calls when she is not around. So she decided not to have on-call on weekends. bersalah dia kata
Dr D : That's so good of her :)

kisah 4 :
Dr D : Siapa on-call waktu Dr R tak de?
Dr S : Dia Dr R
Dr D : Pastu, ko amik tugas dia?
Dr S : Tak, aku tak ambil
Dr D : Dah tu? Sape on-call?
Dr S : takde sesiapa. Dia tak claim on-call waktu dia takde, walaupun atas urusan rasmi. Dia kata kalau takde officer on-call kenapa nak claim?

Subhanallah. Subhanallah.

Tetapi saya on-call. Amanahkah saya?

a) Syariat
b) Strategi

2) Mengajak mereka berbincang mengenai agama

(Riwayat Muslim no.1506, Abu Daud no 5129, al Tirmizi :2671 daripada Abu Mas'ud al Badri RA)

11) Mengasihani mereka dengan rohani insaniah

......
Insya Allah to be continued. Masa untuk beramal dengan apa yang dibaca :)
